How does it actually read a video?

We transcribe the audio, sample frames to catch on-screen text like quantities and temperatures, then fuse the two into a structured recipe. A photo post works the same way, from its pictures instead of a video.

What if the video was vague about quantities?

Accepted Answer

Every recipe shows where it came from — the video, the photos or your camera — and an AI-assisted label, because a model wrote it out. Everything is editable, and every edit is versioned.

Does it handle allergies and diets?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Set dietary preferences, allergies, cuisines and a primary goal during onboarding, and the planner treats them as hard constraints rather than suggestions.

Question 5

How does the meal planner know my calories?

Accepted Answer

The chat collects your body stats and your goal, computes a daily calorie target, then builds up to a week of meals against it. Save any of them back to your library or drop them onto the calendar.

Can I shop the ingredients?

Send a recipe’s ingredients to one shopping list, grouped by aisle. Each line says which recipe needs it, so a list for three dinners still makes sense in the shop.

Does it work offline?

Your saved recipes are cached on device, so the library, search and recipe steps work in a basement kitchen with no signal. Conversions and chat need a connection.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Paid tiers are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play — we never process your card — so you manage or cancel from your device's subscription settings. Refund requests go to Apple or Google rather than to us.

What happens to my data if I leave?

Delete your account in-app under Settings → Delete Account. It enters a 30-day grace period, and signing back in cancels the deletion. After that it is permanent and irreversible, including your recipes, collections and preferences.

Do you sell my data?

Accepted Answer

No, and we do not use it for third-party advertising. Your ingredient list only goes to our grocery partner when you tap Shop. The full detail is in our privacy policy.
